voip heard by others but not me

lately since about three days ago i been having a problem with my mic.

i jumped into several different games with friends and joined up in a squad wit them (yes i did the mic test and mic boost etc etc) and they can hear me, but i can't hear anything they say. in fact, i can't hear wut anyone is saying over their headsets.

anyone know a way to resolve this?

i already disabled any firewalls juss in case, went to dxdiag in run and set my audio acceleration from full to basic like i read in another thread but nothings working.

help would be much appreciated. thanks

Try running "BF2VoiceSetup.exe" from the directory: C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/

tried that and works fine for me but my friends still cant hear me. another one of my friends is having the exact same problem. other people can hear us but we can't hear anyone.

If you're using an Audigy2 (or any of your friends are) click the link in my sig, it has detailed instructions on how to get things work properly (hopefully).

I know there has been issues with VoIP and onboard sound, I will do some poking around, see what I can find. Try looking on the EA Forums, or in the EA FAQ.

im not sure what my buddies have but i dont have an audigy, im just using the onboard sound. this sucks cuz im hearing a lot more ppl getting this problem as the days go by.

Unfortunately so do I. Hopefully the patch coming soon with smooth these problems out.
