Kill Stats don't add up

weird. just for fun I added my kills. My kit kills all add up to exactly my total kills and my vehicle + weapon kills all add up exactly to my total kills.

Actually I just added yours up (from bf2s... and three times to make sure I wasn't being an idiot) and you have exactly 1 more vehicle+weapon total(5883) when compared to kit/grand total(5882)

actually yeah, I noticed that too but I figured I added one wrong...

It's still weird that your kills don't add up.. we can't possibly play that much differently.

it is weird may not of updated cause that can happen and u dont even know it

I have played Commander alot so I am wondering if maybe its counting Commander as a different kit I have ALOT of commander kills what do you think.

Upon further research I am becoming more and more convinced of the following:

1)Kills while dead are being recorded in the vehicle/weapon category, but not in kit/overall kills (and possibly combat score????)

2) People whose vehicle/weapon add up to LESS than their overall kills have more commander artillery kills than kills that are not being recorded.

I am going to create a test account tonight,have a friend create one, and then try to lay some mines, blow myself up and then have my friend run over them while I am dead on a ranked server.
