      Well my other choice was the 6600 256MB. Up from the 6600GT and I'm over my budget.

        Don't listen to numbnuts, the 6600GT is a really good card.

        The only thing that I'm weary about is the Epox mobo. Otherwise, good hardware.

            First off video RAM although it is important isn't the top thing when looking at a video card, which you seem to think it is.

            Second of all the clock speeds on the 6600 256MB version are slower then those on the GT, and the memory does not make up for this.

            6600 256MB:
            Core: 300Mhz
            Memory: 500Mhz

            6600GT:
            Core: 500Mhz
            Memory: 900Mhz.


            GT > 256.

              I have that same epox mobo and processor in my computer (just put in a few days ago) and this thing FLIES!

                Good to hear. The main difference usually between "off" brand mobos, and major manufacture mobos, is that bigger names tend to have higher stability when overclocking, and sometimes have more (and sometimes useless) features.
