2 Questions bout FRAPS and the game...

Hey, I was thinking bout makin a movie with FRAPS but however I do it laggs its like 1 FPS. Ive tried to put down the solution to 800*600 but it still laggs (Less but..) And ive also tried setting it at al the possible FPS that is able in FRAPS.
Anyone know why it laggs?

it has to capture footage, compress it and write it to your harddrive all at the same time as running the game, unless you have a beast of a machine recording with fraps will put a huge stain on your computer and so your framerate will decrease and the output video will look very choppy

but thats fraps for you, there is an alternative called battlerecorder, have a look in the tips and tricks forum for a guide to the battlerecorder, you will only be able to get thirdperson/freecam footage (no first person) but the resultant movie file will be a hell of a lot smoother

use bf recorder to do your stuff then use fraps while your running bf recorder to capture the moments that you want... look into battlelauncher its way easy thing to find out about

It takes allot of time for the program to capture footage.

Fraps Laggs I cant... Ill have to do it with bf recorder
