I have a 17" Liquid Video LCD and it didn't come with a driver CD so its on MS Plug&Play which holds it back. Now i went to the website (www.orbyxelectronics.com) and downloaded the driver, but I have no clue what to do with it. It's an ICC Profile, whatever that is. Do I have to put it somewhere or what? When I just double click it, it asks me what program I want to run it with or find the program from the web.

What you got there is nothing more then a color profile bud.
(International Color Consortium)
I doubt its "holding your monitor back".
I did a little poking around and ICC's are most likely used for printers not mintors.

That means your monitor doesn't support over a 75Hz refresh, as most LCDs do not. Some support 80-85Hz on lower resolutions, but if you're running 1280x1024 then most only support 75hz. And what do you mean "hard to read"? It shouldn't be hard to read at all. My ViewSonic is 1280x1024@75Hz, and its a thing of beauty.Comment
