How do you fire co-pilot heli missiles?

Maybe I just need more practice...or maybe I am dumb. When you switch to right-click in the attack (2 seater) copter, you get a black and white "TV" screen....when I fire a missile? it gives me a neat camera view. Can I steer these? Should I bother try? I think I just expected more control....are they heat seeking?

again, I have no manual, but I understand the manual blows anyway!

yes you can steer them, click on the screen as you move the crosshair, this will change the direction of the missile path. It takes practice so be patient, the missile flies very fast and you don't have much time to react.

You can steer, but only slightly.

They arn't heat seeking.

So say I fire and want it to go to the right....I have to move the cursor to the right and click the left mouse button, or simply moving the cursor doe sit?

You have to click, you can practice this in single player, get in Gulf of oman, park cobra on edge of ship and get into gunners seat, fire away and watch what happens when you try and redirect it.

What I do is rapidly click on the target over and over. If its moving, as long as you're clicking on the profile of the target, the missle will make tiny corrections toward it with each click. You can do some SERIOUS damage with these once you get good. I can take out enemy choppers out from across the map, even while they're moving. I fly with a friend of mine over Ventrillo (voice program) so I can spot targets for him and vise-versa. That helps a ton.

also, depends on speed of helo
we like to hove off a bit\
and smoke mobile AA
(it pays to learn all their hisign spots)
