Will the SDK have a map making editor?

the map tools are inside the kits, yes.

BF2Editor does everything except make the models and the model animations.

You'll need a 3D modelling program, like Gmax (free!).

so that means you can use the models already in the game but you have to compile the new models you wanna use with a 3deditor? ahh ok
