one round a map servers are stupid

ys well, I have "only" 1.5 gig ram and when I spawn there are most of the time guys running around with 4 tot sometimes 10 points, this is ********

Yes. Admins that set thier server to only 1 round why even bother having a server in the first place 1 round is boring.

Hardly enough time to get into immersed in the gameplay when next map changes every 5 minutes.

I refuse to play on any server with less than 2 rounds.

2 rounds is perfect, 3 rounds can be to much sometimes , certainly when you do not like the map so much

I like 2 round servers but I wish that the teams would have to switch sides after each round.

We run our server with two rounds for each map, and strike at karkand is played every third map.

And I agree with 3jane. I think the bfv rcon tool had the option for a switch teams thing.

never had a problem with the one round a map option, when there is 10/40 people playing kubra dam you dont really want to be playing 2 or more rounds of it, 64 player version. and the server i go to reguarly has few people on in the early morning

2 rounds is great, 3 can be a little long on some of the bigger maps.

I like the variety, map loading doesn't bother me and even though I only have 1gb of ram, I've never seen a guy with 10 points, maybe 2-4 when I join. But, really, that just means the enemy is closer and I don't have to walk as much.

I play the game at a stunning 800 x 600, with every detail on low, and i always spawn first. i think you can leave super computer out.

exactly. 1 not enough, 3+ too much, 2 just right. :)

IMO, some of us have lives and want to play all the maps that do come with the game.

Yepp. I perfer the 2 round servers. I hate having to load so much. I have only a gig of ram but i get in faster than 90% of the ppl, not sure why.

What was the name of that/those server(s)? I want to make sure I avoid it. For reasons already given, it just doesn't make sense nor sounds like it would be fun. :hmm:
