WTH happened?

I wasn't sure whether to put this thread in the bugs section or not, seeing as how this isn't really a bug or hardware problem....

Anyways, have you ever gotten blasted by arty and your body goes flying like insanely high/far? For example, I was playing at Karkand (I think) and BOOM I got nuked. As I waited to respawn I noticed that my body was flying. I was somewhere in the middle, but I ended up out of bounds! It's hilarious, lol.

If this is a bug, I think I like it. My friend was playing on my comp, and it happened to him too. We were cracking up when his body flew over a Helo lol.

I have launched pretty high up. Best one yet was I flew up into a helo that was hovering overhead. The folks in teh chopper must have loved that

I was hit by an arty at fushe pass (I think) and I went flying...... and I hit an invisible wall (I was WAY out of bounds) it was so screwed up, lol

yeah if you get a direct hit you go flying super far, i went from one side to the other in gulf of oman. It was good times because i landed right in front of some assault guy. I bet he crapped his pants when i jsut dropped out of the sky! ghehe

If so, it's a hilarious bug, cept for when you're in some serious firefight :hmm: There's no way you'll be getting revived after that :cry:

I've had it a couple of times. First one was capping the market (2nd flag in) and BLAM artillery...I landed somewhere near the water lol. 2nd time, Oman it was and I got blasted and hit an attack helo lol...I would have ROFLed either time if i was able to be revived after that.

I've hit multiple helo's because of this, although i've never taken one down because of it.

I bet this has never happened to anyone. I got hit with the Artillery and I was flyin. So im watchin my guy fly and when he lands, he crushes a friendly unit. I looked at the top left hand screen to see if I got charged with the kill and it said (Snyper(somthing) was killed. That was pretty cool. But it got me thinking, and i found out one way to kill enemy without even shooting at them. PARACRUSHING!!! Although its really tough to land on them, if you do when flying in the parachute, you will kill them. I just thought that was kind of cool.

Awesome I should try that sometime. I did something like that as a blackhawk though, I didn't have a gunner so I landed on my enemies, I saw an stinger pointed at me, so I dropped some flares and landed on his head. Then a smoking APC started shooting at me, so I landed on that too and blew it up (I didn't suicide, I just did a landing as if I were landing on a helipad.
