yea i kno how y'all feel.

one of the more unluckier times while playing occured on sharqi...i was the machine-gunner for a tank and we were fighting an enemy attack chopper with a couple AT guys. the chopper went down alright...but its burning wreckage landed on top of me. couldn't really do much except sit there in shock as i watched it get larger and larger in my screen. my poor driver got the TK, too...

That happens to me when I have 2 rounds left in my last mag, DOH!

Sometimes I feel like I just have bad luck, let me explain, for example I spawn and get I killed instantly by an APC that's trying to cap that flag, so I respawn elsewhere only to get hit in the face by an artillery shell. Or another example, on maps like Sharqi or Karkand where it's crowded, it's me and this guy in one spot covering a flag, arty starts to rain down and I decide to run away but I get it and the dude that stood still lives. You know the feeling?

And the worst is getting hit by friendly artillery because you couldn't leave the area, respawning and getting killed by enemy arty. I think half of my deaths could be attributed to arty :laugh:

Yeah I'm starting to think there's some kind of code in my game saying "arty hit him where ever he goes!" I swear no matter where, what, who's around me or even what I'm under I get hit. I could be under concrete barriers 6 foot thick and still get pwned. It's getting annoying.

Or it will even sometimes hit in the same place one right after another. If you ever play command and watch arty strike's they never hit in the same place twice one right after the other. It's usally random spots and then it hit's the same spot as it has before after other random hit's else where. Hope that make's sense lol. Point is reguardless I get pwned no matter what!

As for the spawn death's. Yeah I alway's seem to pick the wrong place at the wrong time as well.

In Asherons Call there was a bug in the code called the WI flag that drew monsters to you over others, yes I had this, yes it sucked. Although I'd say your situation is just bad luck, but you never know :). (j/k)

die from frendly arty, respawn die from enemy arty in the exact same spot, medic revives you arty kills you both, respawn lav camper respawn a flag back theres 3 guys there caping the flag...

that's what the best parts of BF2 are. getting killed the moment you respawn. it hate when it happends with medics reviving you. the medic saves you, then you get killed, he saves you again and you both get killed the next instant. isn't that just annoying?

ya i was standing in a corner on karkand with a buddy to avoid the arty... one amazling hits in the hall way and kills me and not him but where standing right next to eachother...

My worst death streak was 5 times in a row without moving or firing a shot. I got hit by 1 guy with an AK47 & kept respawning in EXACTLY the same spot and he just kept shooting me !!! As it was the only spawn I had to endure it until another spawn was available.

Yeah its like me, i feel like when i spaen jst go to the enemy base, give them the gun and my money and get naked and shoot my self for them, its bessicly what happent to me.

yeah like i'll die because of something stupid just to respawn right in the middle of an artillery attack, then when I respawned again the flag was over run with the enemy, so yeah sometimes I reakon that I have bad luck too
