anyone else having a similar problem running a 7800 ? whenever i try to take a screeny using the in game print screen command i get a complete system freeze and have to hit reset. slightly annoying...

I have a second freeze but I have a Go5700, the little lag i get is from only 512 of ram. I dunno why it completely freezes for you...try reinstalling. -

Uninstall your current video drivers.
Run DriverCleaner3 (www.drivercleaner.net) per his instructions.
Install the latest Beta drivers (77.76) from Nvidia (located on the Beta page of the drivers).Comment

i could use fraps i suppose.
as for cleaning drivers - i built this system last weekend and the 77.72 are the 1st drivers ive installed.
im trying to stay away from beta drivers (at least untill ive got the system up and running how i want it).
on oanother note - transparent anti aliasing (new 7800 feature) doesnt seem to work with bf2 some things that the feature effects (chainlink fences and such) seem to disappear... strange. hope its noticed for 1.3Comment

I doubt it, as 1.3 is in its testing phases right now. There is nothing wrong with Beta drivers, especially if they fix your problem. If they don't then so what, just roll them back, but how will you know, unless you try?Comment

yes I had the same problem when I used the page button try remapping the key to / for instance and see if you still have a problem.Comment

Which, that one I never understood because if someone wanted to fly that badly why would they want the pilot to be good? It would seem to me he/she would want them to suck so that they crash and can commence the spawn fight which is usually accompanied by the standard "crowding" technique or sometimes the ol' "pull the knife out to show em you mean business".Comment

I'm an excellent pilot, however should I not get the helicopter I do gun. I want a good pilot because I know exactly how a gunner should be used. Unlike most pilots, my gunner generally has a score higher then my own, sometimes as much as 20 points more. The gunner is a very useful tool, so if I'm in the gunner position, I want a good pilot, so that I don't waste my time getting in when I could be helping my team else where. To me, if the pilot cannot keep in the air for more then 5 minutes, he is worthless to his team.
