    mousewheel

is there anyway one can bind the mousewheel. eg: bind mousewheel so when i scroll down it is just like pushing the #2 key on they keyboard so it goes right to pistol instead of scrolling? i have been messing with the config but it seems to erase my changes once i open the game.

haven't noticed what? i'm just trying to set mousewheel down to select weapon 2 instead of scroll through all the weapons. if you are in teh controls menu and erase the current key for weapon2 (which is keyboard number 2) and then try to scroll down to have the scroll down as your bind it doesn't register.

No you cannot. EA has stated the mouse wheel is still un-bindable. My guess is this is because they wanted to prevent the mouse wheel from being bound to the primary fire command so people can't whore it (like in CS).

There's gotta be a way. People found a way to rebind "alt", so there must be some way to do it similarly.

As far as I know, brightness is not adjustable in-game. Your video card may have something so you can create a profile to increase the brightness when it starts the game, but other then that no.

Tripleplay369, according to EA there is no work around for the mouse wheel as of right now.

Might I suggest binding your "fast" switch to the wheel's click feature (if you have one). My mouse wheel actually moves side to side as well so I have plenty of options :)

What was that one program, the one that had all the useful scripts? It had a duck toggle and some other useful stuff. If I remember correctly, it had something like a button that would quick switch between slot 3 and slot 2 quickly..

why not bind the f key as your weapon #2?
