So 4 Gig's yes then? More power, faster loading, better gaming performance?

Need a definitive yes or no here peeps. Preferably from sombody who has 4 gigs installed.

          I had 1GB (2x512GB), but now I have 2GB (2x512M + 4x256MB, yep, my mobo has 6 memory slots)

Now is faster when jump/jump out o vehicles, today I will test more features.

You know, it's like you guys are reading my mind. I run the f uk r on 512 mb and all and all I'm happy on low-med settings, but after running an all meduim practice game (local server..just me), I saw the beauty and and I'm curious about playing on all high.

I just found out I can update my Taco Dell to 4gb. MUAHAHAHA. Time to burn cash...who needs a coat, it's summer! I'll probably upgrade to 1.5 mb. And buy a new graphics card.

Anyone know the pipeline of an ATI radeon x300 (what I have)?

4 gigs is a bit overkill, imo. I doubt you will notice it (and windows may not notice all 4 either). BTW, level load times are more dictated by your processor speed than ram.

*dont waste your money, go buy some hotdogs, you'll get more use out of those

Wait a minute, did you say ATI x300? The $89 one? sell that, and all but 1 gig of your ram, and buy a real video card man. you will never get anything better than the lowest settings no matter what you do. That card does not have enough power.

                Sorry.
