Personally I thikn it'd be fair to say that you get to change your name when you go up in rank and thats it.. how bout ever one else?

ehm slimshady i get ur point, shouldnt be namechanges any minut, with rankchange can last up to 100 houres playing time , just once in a month or somtin would be nice yea

just create a new account and play matches with the new account, and when doing prac on ranked servers login with your other account that has 70.000 points and play.
or when just playing for rank, than just use your 70.000 points account.
thats what i do.

i had heard/read that your account name was tied to the gamespy id, you could simply log in to gamespy and change it. Was this bs?

You can do that but it will only change the name on your BFHQ not the game, which I think is usless!
