whats the best way to get these badges

i only seem to get 5 kills per round with a pistol, and i get tired of getting killed

and knive ive only had 3 kills total i gave up because i keep getting killed by the enemys teamate

for knife, find a map with a lot of snipers and then slash em from behind (watch out for the claymores, tho)
pistols are effective against snipers as well.

i can understand your frustration, tho, seeing as i havent earned these badges either hehe

get lucky.. I got them both on Clean Sweep.. just ran around sneaking behind people.. now I'm working on the veteran ones..

Just keep using it.

Dont just whip it out and run around trying to kill people(although thats how I got mine). It's best to hide somewhere and be a class that has a long sprint(special ops is what I used).

When you see someone run past you or across a road run and jump into prone when you get to him(thats what he's gonna do if he sees you) and a quick stab to the head will do it.

Knifes are such fun to use, the way i use them gotta make the enemies pissed off, hes about to run around a corner, i jump "over" him and start knifing until i hit.

I hate those gits that keep shooting knifers with assault rifles, lol, i was trying to knife this guy, he used 3 magazines until he killed me.

As you can see in my sig ive got the veteran knife badge.

lol it ticks me off too when they do that but its funny as hell when they run out of ammo cuz there freaking out and cant shoot strait. They know the knife is coming and they dont want there name in lights with that knife kill by there name.

I just got my Knife Combat badge today. Map was Shonghua Stalemate (spelling) and I was on team China. Also, I was a Medic if that matters.

So what I basically did was BE NINJA. Hide in the trees, hang around places where you have a lot of buddies to distract the enemy, and shank the mofos while they aren't looking. Best way to get the kill is to SPRINT to the guy and DIVE (prone button) towards him, and KNIFE him while you're in mid air.

Sounds hard, but trust me, it's easy. I racked up 10+ knife kills that round

Got my knife badge last night, Strike at Karkand in the alleyways between the US spawn and the first MEC flag. Luckily the fight was pushing towards the MEC flag, so I'd throw smoke grenades down the alley and charge em all. Most knife kills came from waiting at a corner, slice him, wait for a medic, slice him and then slice everything else that came nearby, if they start shooting like mad, prone and get up quickly ( Lame to do with rifles but okay with knives )

At a time I jumped down from a roof where I saw 3 mec guys, knifed em all, 2 more showed up, proned knifed one and had to pistol shoot the last... Everything on the killscreen was Kongstad[Knife]xxx
Was great :P Tonight ill get the veteran one hopefullly.

7 kills in 1 round for basic, 50 total and then 7 in 1 round for silver, and 100 total and 18 in 1 roudn for gold...

Knife and pistol are fun ones to try and get. I have done well on allot of maps with the pistol as most people under estimate it. The handgun has no recoil so once you are amining and not moving, you can unload on a fella and normally take them out in 1 clip.

As for knifes, that takes allot of sneaking aournd behind enimies and taking out snipers/campers who are set up on hill sides shooting into enemy bases.


Overall though, I am seeingf more respect for knife fights in games. I pulled out the knife against an assult class in teh middle of their base. He dropped his gun and pulled his knife. We danced for 2 mins while 4 others watched us. I ended up winning and then the other 4 loaded me with bullets. Ah well...

To get the knife badge easier. Go to a map with a ton of snipers on it then just slash away.

What map? the pistol is easy don't even aslkabout it but to get it just shoot the pistol like any other gun thats what i do.

I have some tips

First: Get used to it. I had to respect the knife and pistols as wepaons before I could even think about using only it

2nd: Spec Ops for pistol and Medic for knife. The silenced pistol of spec ops is useful as it freaks out people to have their health depleting and hear nothing. Medic for knife so you can heal yourself.

3rd: Get on the flanks. Neither are charge into battle head on wepaons.

4th: If they do see you coming but you're fairly close, jump and immediately go prone. You'll dive onto them and hopefully get the kill before he finishes you.

That's basi9cally what I've learned, not ready to go for elite yet lol. Think most I've had is 11 knife and 15 pistol kills for 1 round.
