FROM EA TECH DEPT: Actually punkbuster is still most likley the cause, however that generally means there is somthing going on in the very low levels of your system, to root out any of those errors a motherboard chipset update helps quite a lot. This information is actually up on the punkbuster FAQ site.
We do not issue refunds directly, however we can exchange your game for a sealed copy that you can return to the store from which it was purchased. You can contact our warranty department at (650) 628-1900 to exchange your disk for a new one. To replace your software you will need a sales receipt dated within the 90-day warranty period. Electronic Arts warrants its software to the original purchaser that Electronic Arts' software is free from defects for a period of 90-days as stated in the manual. If the disk has been misused, or the 90-day warranty has passed, then a fee will be assessed to replace the software.
This is a fourth response in reference to my computer crashing to the blue screen then restarting. I was told to shut everything down, reinstall, update punkbuster, update the chipsets. Nothing has worked thus far. Sometimes I can play a while other times not at all. My specs are below. I have also ordered another gig of ram same make and model, total (2.5gig).
This problem only occurs in MULTIPLAYER mode.
