    Top Players 57,000+ points?

The game has been out for 42 days and the top 10 players have scores over 50,000 (the top one 57,000+).

Did you know that averages to 1357.142 points per day.

Me thinks there is a whole lot of bull**** going on.

Its either a stats glitch or some heavy padding. Either way it should be fixed with the upcoming patch this month. So no worries.

A lot of people got it early. And look at their top scores. They're legit.

-edit- I can get a good 300+ points in an hour on 24/7 Karkand servers. I'm not even that great either.

Living at home, with no job, and way too much free time, I could see getting 1000 points a day if they're on it most of the day. That's sad though. Very very sad.

            That is a possibility.

Some people just do not work in their 20's and go to college and live off of mommy and daddy still up til their 30's and all they do it sit at home and game.

I read an article about this last year in a local newspaper how the trend with today's young adults and how some still live with their parents close to their 30's.

Gives them a lot of time on their hands to play Battlefield 2, that's for sure.

I can get about 500-1000 points a good evening in Karkand. But not everyday.

As mentioned by animateddave, school IS out and summer is here.

The game has been out at least 50 days so.. dedicated gamers with no obligations other than reaching legal age could play everyday all day and half the night.

its really simple, they play ALOT, and they do the same thing over and over again...mostly tank whore on karkand...they have their system down so well that they jsut own everytime....to me thats no fun at all. i played assault and got perty decent with it to where i was like 4th on the leaderboard...not like it matters really....but then i decided that thats boring to do the same crap over and over in a mad quest for points, so now im support and spec ops...and the games much more fun.....i just dont have the patience or the time for such nonsense.

Ok, I'll bite on this one. I call shenanigans on the guy currently ranked number two in the world. At first glance, [TR]Dissb has stats that look semi-legit, if not a bit obsessive. He plays a crapload, and almost all karkand, and almost all medic. His total matches played (at this time) is 1,313. His total revives are at 7,173. That averages almost 5 1/2 revives per round. AVERAGES. That takes into account all the times you load up mid, 3/4 or at the end of a map round, as well as all the "noob" time everyone has learning the ins and outs and such in the beginning (aka, which is the best point-map-kit combo to go for points) And heaven forbid, is it possible.... a bad round????

Now I am not saying getting 5-6 revives in a game or string of games is undoable. Heck I think even 10-15 is pretty doable when the conditions are right. But be honest, when you look at the top scores for around, isn't the "top revives" on a round maybe around 4-5... maybe... not consitently. Yet this guy has consistently over *every* round he's ever played, averaged more than 5 revives? Is it possible? Well, Maybe... is it probable... I highly doubt it.

In my mind this is blatant stat-padding. What about the people who are much more subtle in their padding (one game you resupply, one you heal/revive, one you kill you buddies, one you repair, rinse... repeat)?

And if I can find this guy in the top two, I would venture that of the top 1,000 people or so, easily 20% have done some sort of blatant stat-padding. The sad part is it makes the legit scores look suspect too.

Just like old bfstats.com was with 42 and bfv, I disreguard a certain number of the top players points as useless. Kudos to the ones who earn their point legitmatlly... even if stat-whoring (Hey, if you can spend 170 hours in 42 days flying jets or tankin... and still find it fun... well, then.... have fun) As for me, I'll take my rank of 1,205, my 20k some odd points and be more than happy with it knowing I earned it, both in the time I put in and the skill which got me there.

Back on topic, playing TOO MUCH isn't healthy.
