Processor: intel P4 3.0GHz Prescott
Motherboard: DFI LP 875P-T Intel 875P ATX Intel
Graphics: SAPPHIRE Radeon X800XL 256MB
RAM: Mushkin Value 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR 400 PC3200

Should I Drop the video card to the X800 256MB and get 2GB of Ram?

The Athlon 64 chips are much faster.

I agree that the AMD chips are much better gaming chips, but if you like Intel then you should be in good shape. Keep the XL and get the extra Gig later. The memory is a cheaper upgrade later then the video card

I agree AMD is the way to go. Much more bang for the buck. Plus the Prescott core runs extremely hot...Extremely hot!

Well I already have the Processor in my computer now. Runs fine for me, infact I like it. But this will be a good upgrade from 512MB of RAM, ATI 9700, Some ASUS motherboard. Thanks for the opinions guys.
