Road kills also count if you crash into other vehicles; if a plane hits a chopper, that is also a "road" kill.

the best explanation i got was in the 'Pilots!' thread from a person whos name I forgot:/

But this is what he told me: When you blow something up like a tank a person standing next to it died as a result of that explosion. He wasn't hit directly, but died from the explosion of the vehicle.

For jets and choppers, it is when you blow up the apc, and while your bomb itself doesen't kill the guy on the ground, the blast of the apc explosion does.
