Bf2 Mmorpg?

Anyone know if EA games ever plan on making one with BF styled game play?

Theres games like WWII online and Planetside, they do a great job at this but they fail in major areas, EA games can come in and blow them away.
Cities that are capturable that have their advantages, Spawn points, air fields, factories, etc.

Engage in huge city battles to take control of a continent.

Make it take over the world, 3 teams US, Terrorists, and Korea?

Different vehicles for each sides that can be hijacked.

Certification points per rank you gain, Certification points can go to vehicles, better weapons, skills such as medic.

Command ranks to call in artillery, air support, organise battles.

NO talking to the enemy.

Squad based team work, outfits, platoons, etc.

Just some ideas

lol WWIIOnline is horrible for shooters, and the fact you can get out of vehicles, the infantry support is horrible, the feel is crap

lol WWIIOnline is horrible for shooters, and the fact you can get out of vehicles, the infantry support is horrible, the feel is crap

last time I checked not many tank or vehicle personel got out and fought as infantry in ww2... Perhaps you just dont like it because the game is realistic, unlike bf games.

I've always wanted a FPS MMORPG type of game but I could never really figure out how it would work. If someone could make a good design I bet it would sell extremely well. Maybe be like WoW or something. And I'm not saying WoW is good because that game sucks...but it did sell A LOT of copies.

Not sure how you would get the role playing part into it. If a team sat down and thought really hard tho it could be possible. A bit hard to have organsied armies tho. Could be a bit of freeforall. A BF2 just with walkaroundable lobbies. Although to find out where enem key posiions were it would be fun to have intelligence teams and with maybe some civillians you could get a spy trade game with tails and stuff. Hang on... missing the point there. Anyway although would be good, can't really see it working.

Make it so your kit would be your character. So now I am a medic. You could also train in different vehicle classes, but not all. That way you'd have to have your tankers and your apcers and what not. Could train to be a pilot. Your stats help to unlock better guns, armor, maybe fitness. Increase your stamina or something.

I would really love to play a game like that.
