I was just on a Public server and had gave Commander a shot for the First time after reading the post in the Tips/Tricks forum which btw was GREAT info. Forget the name of the map, but the USA starts on a small Island and MEC has complete control of the other large Island. I thought i was doing pretty well for my first run with the Commander postion, using the spotting command, was able to literally spot every enemy unit on the scans most the time and using my artillery strikes in clusters of enemy troops/postions.
I was doing well enough where they send a 3 man squad of SF troops over to blow up my assets, after the 2nd time i parked a APC up on the ridge overlooking the Artillery and stopped 2 more attempts after that, after which they gave up. During all this my team had secured 3 bases and i had wrecked up 52 Commander points points and earned my Basic Commanders badge, which more then half were done with the spotting command and my troops killing the spotted. We had the 2 furthest bases left to take over and were well on our way to winning when i was KICKED by the Admin for TK'ing. I had only got 4 TK's all with Artillery, which i though was pretty good considering it was my first time and this looser kicks me? LOL! I think it was more then that, but to each there own i guess. Just annoys me to be kicked for doing well, or thought i was doing well at least. Guess im gonna stick to the official EA server so i cant be kicked by sore loosers...
