"Connect to IP" in offline mode

I wrote a little utility to enable you to connect to a specific IP in offline mode. You can get it from:

and the Delphi source code from:

http://www.emboss.co.nz/downloads/debroadcastersrc_0_2.zip

Just enter the IP address in the box and hit "start". The server should then appear in the server list in BF2 (you may have to do a refresh for it to come up). You can do a lot more that that with it (support other games and stuff) but in the basic mode it's quite simple :)

Sounds like it's meant for people to do not have a valid CD key that would like to play with each other over the internet.

That's the only reason I can think of other than being able to play with your friends the occasional time the EA login servers are down...
