Do you get medals for middle-map rounds?

Say if a map runs 3 rounds. If you get a gold medal the first two rounds, do they count?

I've had a few people tell me they didn't.

Why wouldn't they as long as you meet the requirements. I got one of mine in last part of a map after I got it I logged out. So ya don't worry just get um.

Why wouldn't they? You earned it right? Why would map rotation be a factor?
