How do I disable chat to appear..

How do I disable chat to appear on the screen? Is there a way to disable this and just enable team chat? Or is there a way to reduce how many lines it displays?

nope, kind of annoying seeing the vote crap come up when you have it turned off too, voting is so pointless in this game it isn't funny.

I think the only solution to this is EA need to create a filter so you can filter certain players or all players, this will also help if some people dont like cursing..I dont really need to know who killed who or who revive who..

You could just ignore everyone. Hit CAPS LOCK, then right clikc to activate your mouse, goto manage, and ignore everyone. It should stop atleast yoru team chat.
