    Errr!!!!!! Pleas Help!!!

    Alright i feel like putting my fist through a wall as we speak... I was having lots of problems as i said in my older post so i just said screw it ill just reformat............................ So i reformatted and on a FRESH install of windows xp i go to put bf2 on there and i get to FUSHE_PASS **** on the thing and whats it do.. IT STOPS! now come on give me a break and it says Battlefield2 failed to install pleas try again........................................... This is on a fresh install of xp and i dont know what to do know and this is the same error i got before.

    If someone could help me out ide REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it

    That's really bad, I think everytime you load a map BF2 has to check for hardware compatibilty etc...If it fails on the check the map will not load..just my opinion..

      what are your specs?

        what does the cd/dvd look like? If you have a large scratch or it is dirty it might cause this.

          My system specs are

          Shuttle sn25p
          Amd64 3700+ sandiego core
          1gb stick of ocz 2-3-2-5
          msi x800xl

          If there is a scratch any way to fix it without taking my game back?

            Its DISC damage - they seem to be a little sensitive when they're not in the rom drive.... which disc is it.. ?
            have a friend with a copy?
            I wouldnt try to repair the disc using a resurfacer.. it probably wont work.. and you may run the risk of not being able to exchange it.. if the time period is up on it.. you may not be able to exchange it anymore anyways

              WOW. These things are super super sensative i ran disk docter on all my disks and im on disk 3 of installation now i never ever thought it could be the discs mainly because they have no scratches or anything on them i put them in my giant cd case with all my other software and the battlefield2 discs are the only ones i believe that had this problem.... Very wierd ide like to thank you all for helping me out. This was a long 3 days of trying to get battlefield2 too work from Re-formatting all the way to cleaning the discs
