Well this will be a debate you're not going to like.

Let first state they are both excellent cards however here is what you have to decide:

The X800XL will be slightly slower then the X800XT AIW.

HOWEVER, the AIW series cards from what I have read on several forums can be somewhat of a pain in the ass during gaming.

If it were up to me, I'd get the X800XT AIW. Its a very nice card, and the AIW feature that ATI has is great too.

Although I must ask, why do you need a TV Tuner card? Unless you watch TV on your computer, or perhaps are planning to use it as a "Tivo" type thing (in which case you need mass storage)?

        Why not this?

        Much better TV Tuner card.

i use an AIW Radeon 9800 Pro. I've never had any trouble with this game. I don't think it really makes a difference.

But then again, i can't comment on the non AIW cards. i've only used Radeon AIW cards.

Might work better, but I think they only had issues with AIW back when they first started doing it. Haven't heard much now about it being an issue.

If you plan on overclocking than its not advised that you get the AIW. The problem comes when you try to OC the video card the analog AIW parts cant handle the increased tempuratures/voltages/etc.
