that is a good question, I think it has something to do with spectating clan matches, but I'm not really sure =/

Well i know one thing. To many people are confusing BF2 TV for Battlefield 2 battlerecorder. The battlerecorder is not the TV. The TV was a program that is still on its way out. It allows anyone with the password to go in and pretty much spectate a round or the game happening live.

The spectate clan matches thing is probably referring to TeamSportscast Network. From what I can tell. They either got a release of the BF2 TV from EA or DICE or they are watching the Battle Recording AFTER the matches are already over.

Most shoutcasts currently are done by having the shoutcasters in the game during the match, suicide and spectate the round.
