TK Hack?

I was just playing as USMC on Strike at Karkand on an official ranked server and got TK'd by the same person at least 3 times, this same person was also Tk'ing several other players. However no option to punish was available. I asked him what he was doing and said that he hadn't Tk'd anyone and that his score had not been affected so I hit tab and checked the stats, he was right, the TK's were not going against him, but adding to his total, he ended the round with about 20 kills and 30odd team points. I saw other TK's by other players anounced also but they're scores seemed to be deducted.

Is there somekind of TK hack where you are told you were TK'd and a lot of the kills that are announced are TK's when the player really is innocent? Has anyone else seen this before? I will keep the players name anonymous unless someone wants it.

I am just so frustrated at this, it seemed to happen everytime I got a couple of kills, or was in a great sniping position or whenever he came across me.

I'm sorry if this subject has been talked about before but I didn't know what to search under.

It could be the a tag bug,today i kept being killed by someone with a blue tag but it was in fact an enemy and his name was on my team. its just the tag bug, it registers as a tk but the points act as normal.

There are two possible reasons.

First one is, TK punish could be disabled on that server.

Second one is, its the old mismatched name/team bug ( teamates in red). When that bug starts kicking in, I have no idea who is on my team. Even tabbing to the scores shows that person on the other team... I don't really know whats causing that. Heck, there is a post in the bugs forum from the EA QA person saying she didn't know what causes it, but acknowledged the problem.

This game has more bugs than a rainforrest in midsummer.

I've seen that before and been meaning to ask here.
Sometimes I'll be playing on a server and I'll get TK'd and see an option for yes/no to punish but then other times someone will run me over or something and no option will come up. It just says:
XXXXX [Teamkills] ZapStarfighter, and they get their -4/-4.
What gives? I want punish immunity!

There are also some ranked servers that have punishing disabled...maybe you were playing on one of these.

The servers have the option to:
1. TK Punish Enabled. (vote to punish or forgive)
2. TK Punish Default. (auto punish)
3. Neither. (none of the above) (I’m not sure if you can select this on ranked servers)

Happened to me aswell!

This guy with the blue colour name was firing a rocket at me whilst i was in a tank, and i was like what the hell, whay are you teamkilling me! I got no option to punish so i thought it was disabled. I respawned, and there he was again! so i got in a tank, and killed him, says i teamkilled, but my points wernt affected at all! Wierd.

I think the tag mismatch bug arises when the server autobalances. The other night I died as US SO and got transferred to MEC. When I respawned I still had the US carbine with its laser sight. I also had a a specially good run defending the hotel in Oman, I was in a reasonably good position but far from concealed, but as troops ran across my field of fire I was able to knock off a good number without anyone sending some retaliation my way. I like to think this was my ninja skills but perhaps I was just showing up as friendly and they thought someone else was doing the shooting...

I was playing in dragon valley, and shot a guy who A.) had a red name, B.) was wearing a chinese uniform, and C.) had his name show up on the chinese side when you check the score. So after i killed him, it said i had TEAMKILLED him and HE punished me! An identified enemy PUNISHED ME! how screwed up is that.

similar here i just don't know what uniform he was wearing. had a red name, when i looked at scores he was on the opposite teams list.

one map i had just started and threw out some mines. about 3 minutes later i was kicked from the server. never got a tk warning or anything. so i joined another server, as i'm waiting for the map to load it kicks me out to the server browser saying i was kicked for tk. i wasn't even able to log in!!

i'm thinking about quitting this game altogether, or at least until the next patch. the punishes are ridiculous.

I had the same bug first person is talking about 3 times ive seen it

it says

" [teamkills] Breakpoint "

it doesnt say who is teamkilling or what not, it may be a server bug that EA didnt fix
