every time im playing heliopter, the helicopter tends to tip to the right, i cant seem to hold it steady. is there anyone else this happens to, or is this just me? The thing i was wondering was that, is it something with my mouse or is it the game, and can i do something about it??

I use the keyboard to fly. I can't stand using the mouse.

it happens mostly on forward flight, sometimes during hover too.

easy, your joystick minutely leans to the right, either out of or in game, your sensitivity is cranked up too high so the game picks up this lean. tone down the sensitivity and u'll be good to go.

Or re-calibrate your joystick as it's slightly off at present, giving the slight right hand lean.

I think that in an effort to make the game realistic the designers allowed for torque, which wasn't in Battlefield Vietnam. Every helicopter manufactured has a natural tendency to lean to one side.

do you have a Logitech joystick?

I had that trouble out of mine, found out that in the profile software, there's a way to adjust dead zone, sensitivity and range on all 3 axis. Might try that out.

i use joystick but for chopper i use keyboard, i cant fly with a joystick for a chopper :p

It's probably your mouse sensitivty settings.. try reducing that and see if your control improves.

Another test you can try is to use the secondary controls (keyboard: up, down, left, right arrows) to maneuver the helo and see if the issue remains. If it stops, it's the mouse.. could be that you're leading it to the right slightly and not realizing it, or you are over-correcting.

Maybe your house is built on a slope and the mouse is very gradually rolling to the right on the mousepad? :P

didnt see u mention the name of your joystick but there was a driver issue in older cyborg joysticks which would have this effect. If you have an old cyborg go there website and download the latest drivers.
