ill second that. i wish it had other gametypes too. dont get me wrong, conquest is fine and dandy, but variety is the spice of life, as they say. supply lines and ctf would be nice options to have.

yea i agree too i liked playing CTF in bf '42 seems EA just got abit lazy on the gametypes and expect mods to make em... which the will most likely do anyways.

If they go to the trouble of putting it in (and I really hope they do), I hope they also do something to keep people from C4-defending the flag. TNT-defending really hurt '42's CTF.

Good times. In BF1942 I loved DC CTF. It was such a break from the ordinary and I loved it. It made for some really cool raids and teamwork.

I believe its electric charge that detonates C4, shooting it would just poke a hole in it and give away your position.

I dont belive you can jump off 2 story buildings and parachute over and over either but hey..at some point...funism has to replace realism

Maybe a electro magnetic impulse deal or something the commander can drop instead of artillary

electricity does set of C4, but that jolt only goes through a fraction of the C4. The rest would have to be set off by the explosion of the first bit, or by the fire/heat of the first bit.

So like shooting the c4 with a grenade launcher should make it explode.

c4 is like dynamite it needs a blasting cap to set it off. the blasting cap is like a firecracker. so an explosion should set off c4. back to topic I agree I would love to see some other game modes, not like I would play them every day but it would be nice from time to time.
