1) 3mins (no kills) IAR for basic

2) 5mins + 3 kills IAR for vet

other than that, i dunno? i jus driving myself nuts gttg BASIC EXPLOSIVES. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I got the ground defence ribbon last night. I manned the TOW under the chimneys on Fushe pass. Got 5 kills fairly quickly as APC's tried to cap the flag. It then when quiet for a good ten minutes apart from picking off the occasional brave buggy. I didn't get the ribbon until I'd had 10 TOW kills. I'm not sure all the ribbon and medal requirements on Ubar are spot on?

For the ribbon it took me ten kills

For the badge i just sat there, i did get kills but i believe that you just get it for time in a tow

You have to come under fire for Badge. So if you sit at a rear base and there is no action, it probably won't work.

I got Badge and Basic Ground Defence on the Dam map in the Northern MEC Base by killing Helis trying to cap flag.

Is that ironic or moronic? :laugh:

I didnt come under fire when I got mine. Just sat in a back out of the way place. Never even pulled the trigger

UBAR says "Awarded to recognize the individual who participated in sustained ground combat" for the Ribbon.

Well the helis did end up on the ground...

You need the time and the kills in the same round to get the badge. For vet its just 15 hours and then the kills IAR to get. I'm at about 4hours so far. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...But TOWs are awesome!
