Shotgun

Hello and im here to ask a question about the shotgun
Is it me or someone else as well that when you shoot a person with shotgun in a short range it takes about a half a sec to actually the enermy to die
E.G. Shotgun in the head-> Bang->0.5 sec after ->ahhhhgggg you have killed *****

can anyone tell me about this lag? or bug?

Hello.
I only play as engineer, so I use the shotgun a lot. I have never noticed this, but if the lag you speak of is only a half of a second or so I'm sure I wouldn't notice. I'm still a rookie so at this point the game seems to react faster than I do :)

could be server side? did you try any other weapons or notice any other corpses acting strangely?

there is a certain server that was acting weird last night. you would shoot ppl and they would just hang in mid-air for a while before flipping into the air and then fading away.

its the server, the lag before the ragdoll kicks in is... lag

the crappiness of the shot gun (can hit people and it won't kill them, spreads like its trying to paint a wall) is the game...

Ive had this before when a claymore has gone off or ive just naded someone they run a few feet after the explosion then ragdoll kicks in and they go flying looks kinda funny lol :hmm:
