    anyway to isolate it so it only tracks players on BF2 servers? I'm coming up with peoples names in other games, not the person I'm looking for.

      Yeah, I noticed that. I haven't seen any way through game-monitor.com to isolate to BF2 for the player sigs. Let me know if you see anything...

                The page now only displays BF2 players, I spoke with the designer of www.game-monitor.com and got him to adjust the code so we could use that functionality.

                  this is very handy , thanks.
                  one question. i logged into one server then bf2 crashed, i restarted bf2, logged into another server and started playing but the stats still showed that i was in the original server even though i`d been playing for 10mins.
                  any ideas?

                      one word for you: firewall

                      some of us are behind company firewalls that xfire doesnt work with.

                        XFire is great for it's intended use. But when you're in a squad and you are running with some guy you thought was pretty solid, you might only remember his BF2 name. Or maybe he simply doesn't have X-Fire. Or maybe you didn't get a chance to ask his xfire ID and you'd like to ask him again.

                        This is what this is for. You can, simply, track people by their in-game ID. It's not supposed to be all fancy. It has one simple job, and that's all it is supposed to accomplish. If you want more features, then by all means, go use xfire. Both projects accomplish vastly different features.

                          Just use Xfire , you can track down anyone in anygame , plus u can join it or talk 2 him like a chat box . If u modefie the settings you will see your buddys in green when u look in the mini-map.

                            <sighs>

                            You people have issues. Explain to me how XFire helps when I meet RandomJoe003 ingame and want to play with him again? What happens when he doesn't have XFire.
