I had a conversation with some people about it yesterday, and as far as i can tell, all your supposed to do is get ASE, check the box which says, under Auto-Recording, "Enabled & Working" then join the server, play a round and the recording should be available almost instantly.

Well this isnt the case i'm afraid - i've tried it tons of times and the recording is never available - what is going on? What am i doing wrong?

i'm just going to record stuff in single player because it NEVER works in MP

since the 1.02 hotfix my bf recorder files crash when i try to run them and i cant download the file from any server.

Ya i've never gotten it to work.. tries to connect to server and then says it can't.

Has anybody been able to get it to work? if so can you post the server IP... thanks.

ok now in order for you to be able to get these videos form the recorder, the server has to be hosting BF recorder and as well as that it is not easy for the host to set up for people to download infact hardly any hosts know how to do this and on top of all that they have to have alot of bandwith for everyone to download off them. sorry i cant help much more but i'd say give it abit of time for the game to be sorted out and maby we'll see everything working like its suposed to in the near future

Yeah i know most of that black - but isnt that what ASE is for? it filters out the ones which arent uploading them... but every server i join which says it does upload them it doesnt even show up on my bookmarks - it sucks ass.

Its called All Seeing Eye - and its a product from Yahoo, you use it to scan for servers, its pretty badass really.
