    Showing fps on startup?

Is there a way to show my fps on startup so I don't have to keep entering it in?
I have searched and can't find any method.

    Thanks,

    Danny.

You can use Fraps, but aside from that, the first time you enter it into console, it will stay from game to game until you quit BF2.exe

I know that but I mean when I start my game up I want it to be already on. Isn't there a .con file I can edit that'll execute the renderer.drawfps 1 command on startup instead of me doing it manually?

I don't think you can. Don't mean to hijack, but I'm wondering if there is a way to have a connection meter on the screen like we used to have in Quake3?

Honestly does it really matter, it's not that hard to type in.

Its called FRAPS, the free demo will overlay the FPS without any markings or anything and it is toggle-able (if thats a word).

Scott111 - I am not sure, if I had a list of console commands I'd be able to tell you, but I doubt it.

if you got an ATi video card, and you installed the omega drivers, then run the ATI Tray Tools. Start up BF2 and you see your FPS at the right top in yellow.

im not saying its not great just ive noticed people say use flaps! for your fps and making movies in bf2 when it already has these features

its like trying to reinvent the wheel

also had disagreement with flaps when it wanted to use huge amounts of space for a 10 minute video

plus im not a weegie, i moved here from blantyre, small town between hamilton and strathclyde park
