Surly you can make a map about something different, I know its only a game but you've got to think, how would you like it if you lost your husband/wife there, and somebody make a game out of it?

I personaly would like to see a map based in New York at the time the Twin Towers were still standing. Even though a map that takes place DURING the attacks sounds like an awsome idea as well. No disrespect to all the victems and family's who lost someone on the terrible day, but just imagine playing around on an urban warfare map like New York, all foggy from the dust (maybe work some script out to have junk falling down from the towers).

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the twin towers and it's a shame their gone. I would rather see this as a tribute to them more then a pun.

In short, I like the idea. Go for it!

Don't name it 911. There are over 3000 reasons not to do it. "oh" you say "but they did Omaha Beach. What about the lives lost there?" that was 60 years ago and the pain is not as fresh.

Let the victims and their families of 911 rest we owe them the honor of not being glorified in a game.

(sarcasm) Why don't you do one about the OK City bombing? That would be really sweet since you are so close to that tragedy you could add in realistic first hand details.

My guess is that you are a 12 year old immature brat with no sense of responsibilty to neither friends, family, God nor country.

Personally I would never download a 911 map and if they ever include one as a patch I will refuse to play it and even go so far as to petition to have it removed. Although I don't think even EA would be tactless enoough to sponser one in an official capacity.

That's distasteful. People fell to their death from those towers, yet you want 'junk falling down'. It's not a shame the towers are gone, it's a shame so many lives were lost out of sheer stupidity and negligence. Homeland Security is a joke. Hell, I got through LAX with a knife (by accident) a year ago, how's that for security.

But, that's an entirely different subject. I would like to see a map in the US; something with a waterfront like San Diego Bay would be pretty cool.

make if you want but i think youll be the only one playing it its too near the time and its going to be seen as bad taste though i think.

while im on the subject of bad taste why not relocate the map to somewhere else like san fran and have the objective to blow up/defend the bridge ? or better still blow the faces off mount rushmore ? assault on guantanamo maybe. the channel tunnel in the uk is beggin for a map too really.

there is a massive lack of alternative modes of multiplay on BF2 objective ctf supply line at al....

i would love to have seen some alternative theatres in it.. a few US soil maps some eastern europe maps (chechnya perhaps as its plausable for mec troops to be present in chechnya)

please dont flame for any of those ideas.. they are only ideas and should be treated as such.. although blowing the faces off mount rushmore could provide a big inmap indicator of how well or badly your team were doing.
