Do you think these should be changed to instead of playing so many hours with a certain class, to a certain number of kills with a certain class - with THAT GUN. Meaning only the classes main weapon and unlock, not if you're in a helicopter. To me, when it takes a cetain amount of TIME to get the combat badges, now you're turning a FPS into a RPG, and I think that's ridiculous. I'm not complaining because it'll take to long to get them, but by it having a time requirement, it doesn't show that the person has any skill with the class. It only shows they can pla the game for so many hours . . .

The whole system IMO is kinda wacked. I mean you shouldn't get a basic sniper patch if youre in a tank killing people, now should you? It needs to be flopped around and fixed (hopefully v1.03 will do this, fingers crossed). And the stats need to be reset. Thats right I said it, the stats need to be reset. So that way people can legitly gain their guns and things, not be a sniper or something and kill people in tanks and get the patches. -

Yes, did you read as to why? Just because some people have no lives and do nothing but play this game all day and night, is not EA's fault. It falsely represents the skills and abilities of players. Sure I could get every damn badge, if I used all the classes and did nothing but drive tanks and fly planes and helicopters.Comment

Well the guy in lead of the entire world boards hasn´t played 300 hr yet.
to play 1000 hrs as just one class will take years for some. It´s a litttle to high IMO.Comment

stats will never be reset. Fact is unless you were playing the game from day 1 you will have to make up for lost time. If you dont like the stats on the leaderboard them go and play ! simple as. Even if for some reason they got reset wouldnt suprise me if EA had several thousand lawsuits for lost stats. Hell if i was top and for some reason they got reset if EA didnt have a backup (which im sure they do) i know i would take legal action. If you dont like stats then dont play bf2 simple as. They arnt gonna be reset because you havnt got enough time, or because player x,y,z plays 8-10 hours a day. People play bf2 for enjoyment (ok you get the odd 20-30% who are blatant cheats because they suck at it) but on the whole the leaderboard is a fair representation. I dont look at it and think so and so sucks etc. If i want to know my enemy i go look up his/her stats. If i see you have 4000 kills but 8000 deaths then i think possibly u suck. I look at teamwork and flags etc points as some people may have died alot but put his/her neck out for the team. But if your stats all round suck then ummm yeah sorry go practice more.

if you want stats to be reset then make a new account. EA will lose most of the BF2 players if they reset stats. don't be stupid, use a brain.Comment
