Alright so i just reformatted my computer to run some stuff a little faster and smoother and i get on to bf2 and try to get into a server and right at the end of loading it says you have an altered version of battlefield...or somthing like that and it kicks me out of the server does any one know why? ooo yeah and i havent altered the game in any way besides donloading the patches

Please for the love of god, use the forum search there are about 20,000 other threads pertaining to this exact problem!
Make sure you're patched to v1.02, and also that the intro videos or anything haven't been toyed with. Beyond this no one has been able to nail down an exact reason as to why this happens. V1.03 is due out in 1 month and should address this issue.

"Altered version" or "Modified content".
Remember when you search it hits on keywords, give it too many keywords, and it won't find anything. The more simple you make it, the better your chances of getting results.
