Changed resolution, now I'm screwed

Great, I have an NVIDIA 6800 GT, and I attempted to Max out the video resolution, only to get black screen with my LCD monitor giving an error message "VGA MODE NOT SUPPORT"

I exit the game by Ending it in Task Manager, and when I restart it, I get NO video...what do I do to change it back?? ANd why did this happen??

Edit your shortcut. Alot of people have a question about setting their native LCD to 1280x1024, so just look for that, but then edit it to 800x600 or something. And FYI, this is happening because your monitors refresh or resolution doesn't go as high as you set it. Check with your LCD manufacture to see the supported refresh rates, and resolutions.
