I just bought a Logitech MediaPLay Cordless 11-Button Optical Mouse. It has many many buttons but it wont let me program any button other then the left and right click. I cant do anything with the scroll buttons or the side buttons. I installed the CD and everything but with no luck...
EA has said that the only buttons on a mouse that are programable are the left and right click. And why do you need 11 buttons? Is that a bit....over board? I mean I have.....8 buttons and that is more then I would ever use.

Yes 11 buttons is much. 5 of the buttons are for media options (play, pause, skip, volume, etc) but there are 2 on the side that I was able to program like a Saitek joystick using logitechs software, and the mouse wheel not only scrolls up and down, but it also tilts left and right adding 2 more buttons.
If you own a Saitek keyboard or joystick and want a matching mouse this one works amazing. It ligths up blue also and is 43 dollars at newegg.com. Cheaper then a Dimond back and a lot cooler if you ask me.

How did you use the software to program the buttons? when I installed the software it only seemed to make it so the game didn't recognize my mouse other than right and left click. So I uninstalled the software and now it works except the scroll right and left and middle thumb button.
