X800XL or 6800GT?

Ok Time to buy a new video card. I cant decide between the X800XL 256MB or the 6800GT 256MB The rest of my system is a Intel P4 3.2 and 1GB of OCZ Ram. Thanks.

BF2 is optimized for Nvidia so i think it will run better!

Yeah I'm kindof leaning towards the X800XL because the maked of the 6800GT I chose is PNY and I have never seen them with video cards.

I have also the X800 XL and its a good card with good performance on the most recent games.

if you plan on keeping for a long time, you should go with the 6800gt because it has shader model 3.0... which in the near-future all games will use ..not to mention that you need that to have the full HDR experience (ATi's current cards only have sm 2.0

NO NO NO go for the radeon! dunno what the guy was on about shaders and stuff the new ati shader are HD, if u want better graphics go for the Radeon but if want speed and FPS choose the 6800gt up to you!

well duh if you got 2x7800 a single 7800 has if i heard right the power of 2x 6600 or 6800. But as I saw above for graphics go with ATI speed then Nvidia.

I'm not asking about the 7800GTX. I dont want to spend that much. The computer I have now I build for $650 and I play on medium. With eiather on of these gpx cards I can get high. So please dont say "Get da 7800GTX its da bomb!!1!!1!111."
