Very Odd problem

I was checking my BFHQ and i saw it for a split second and it dissapeared and everything was like MAXED out (points ect).. so i was guessin w/e its probly jus a glitch, so i try to join a server and it works fine until as soon as i press Join Game once its done loading, it loads into the weapon and spawn select, but my mouse and keyboard are not funcional ingame anymore, i have to ctrl/alt/del to get out and close BF2 ... tried few more times same thing... i try on my bros accoutn and his works fine. so i reinstalled and everything annd i still cannot play on my account because once i log in my mouse/keyboard freezes... if anyones heard of this or has this please let me know ... (BF2 was working fine prior to this other then a few other small common errors) I've installed no cheats or anything i jus wanna play bf on my account and dont wanna start over i appreciate the help :)

#1, use the forum search, its very useful.

#2, reset your controls to default, BF2 has an odd thing of losing the bindings for some reason. If this doesn't work you will have to copy the default profile's controls.con file, into your profile.
