showing bf2 stats in a sig

does anybody know how to create a script that shows players stats in a sig? like those from rank servers . all bf2 stats are going to a mysql database . the script should connect to database , query the stats and then show them in a sig , but I don't know php coding at all . anybody willing to help ?

If you want to use a premade sig, try one of the following sites:

Create a graphic you like then go to http://bf2tracker.com and do a custom stat banner.

I just read an update on BF2 site that said they closed down the functionality of out-of-game stat server queries. I don't know of the validity or not, as I see all of you still have your sigs up...

What is it with people finding enjoyment in repeating what someone else already said? It just makes you look like an idiot...

As for the blockage, they will never be able to fully block scripts. As long as our Bf2 client can get the stats, we can as well. Even if they use a different method, there's always a way to fool the server into thinking you're the client.

All you need is slight knowledge of how data is transfered, and a Packet Sniffer.

With the link that cyco posted:

change the "cyco" part of the link to your BF2 ID. then a sig will appear with your medals.

                        omg, its not that hard...

Thanks for the reply and the great tutorial you wrote . I'd like to create my own sig using my own private stats ,which are saved in a mysql database. I have no knowledge of php so I can't change your code so it asks from mysql database for a player stats instead of gamespy database . would you plz be kind and tell me how to do it ?actually not only me , but hunderds of other admins who uses bf2stats to track the players stats on unranked servers (http://www.bighamster.de) . thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
