    Short question about screenshots

How can you take screenshots without the HUD?
    answered
type 'renderer.drawHud 0' in console (and '1' to turn it on again).

How do you turn off the 3D Map?
    answered
    Press ALT

But. I still keep seeing the player tags. How do I turn those off? And How do you turn off the first person view? You still see your weapon when taking screenshots and I want to get rid of that as well.

lol, this took me a while to figure out. I thought i was taking loads of great screenies without the HUD on, went to the folder and there was noting there AARRGGHH!!!! So no you have to use a third party piece of software (like fraps) or alternatively you can use the windows XP print screen, but that requires you to paste every single screenie into paint before you can take the next one

Thank you. How do I turn it on again; by typing renderer.drawHud 1?

EDIT So I can't take any screenshots in-game with the HUD off?

No you cant. To take screenshots with BF2 you have to have the HUD on.

If the server enables BattleRecorder, you are in luck! If it doesn't, I don't know what to tell you.

The best screenshots come from BattleRecorder. Put the camera anywhere!

Turning of the HUD works very well. But the 3D map is still on; i.e. I see the flags and the nametags of my teammates. How do I turn that off?

Press ALT to turn off the 3D Map, although I'm not sure about name-tags.

The left ALT button toggles this, it should be a clean screen shot, minus perhaps the text in the corner? I don't think this can be turned off.

Thanks. You get rid of the text by turning off the HUD. So if ALT kills the 3D map, screenshots are almost clean. The only thing I want to get rid off now is the first person view. How do u turn that off? To explain: I can still see my own weapon (see screenshot in attachment for example). I want to get rid of that as well.

BTW Can anyone give me a link to a site with all the known console commands?
