    Destroying stuff w/o C4s

I just found out today that you don't need C4s to destroy commander stuff. I found out tank shells and other weapons can destroy it. Just like to let you guys know.

Only effective method I have found other than C4 is to bomb it with the SU or F15, tank rounds do little damage and take a very long time to blow any of the commander items with.

well it was a squad mate that did it, so i have no idea how many rounds where use. I also have no idea what state of repair that UAV trailer was in, since it was destroyed before, but it wasn't smoking. However I suicided so i could respawn as special ops, but by the time i spawned, it was black and smokin. He then went for the radar and took it down when i went to take out the artys.

It takes 30+ tank shells or 18 Guided missles to destroy the UAV Shack.

I assume you don't mean laser guided correct?? If you have a good gunner in the bombers, the laser guided missles are a 1 shot kill to any commander asset.

I haven't done it myself but I've seen someone take out artillery with a rocket emplacement at the TV station. Probably not many places you can do this but you might just get lucky...

I think that artillery will work also. I was commander on Shongua Stalemate and the enemy had taken over our base and was C4-ing the artillery. I dropped a repair crate and then fired artillery on the repaired but still very weak artillery cannon. I hit and killed a couple enemies but I also got the audible warning "artillery is under attack" and I watched as my shells destroyed my artillery. I repeated this 2 more times during the round.

I think what it comes down to is that anything will damage commander assets it is just a question of how much damage is being done.

Laser guided - like on the 2 man jets?

I didnt know you could use them for assets, do they lock on assets like it would a tank?

No, they won't lock on. You have to guide it.

It will do "damage" but is a complete waste of time

So pointless doing that, it takes over 5+ minutes probably then they drop a crate asap and it's healed in less than 20 seconds.
