I saved up a lot of money and I finally bought a new pc for me. It took me a while but I am very happy I finally wil have a new one.

I want to thank you guys for all your help here. I cannot wait to get it so I can finally join you guys without a laggy experience. If anyone has xfire please give it to me. I really want to play with someone who knows how to work as a team.

Nice system, I recently upgraded from also and playing without lag is incredible. I also got 2 gigs of ram and the loading times are just insane. Before it would take 1-4 mins to load a map(with 512 ram). Now it takes 10-30 seconds! No more stuttering either! I wouldnt of bought an intel dual core processor since you would of gotten much better performence with the AMD 57FX for about the same price but still you got a good one.

bought him:
ATI x800xl with 256 ram
Audigy 2Z sound
high end head set
Zboard (which he gave to me :))
basic system is 3.2G with 1.5Mb ram

and for our 3rd computer
(for his friend to play)
upgraded to Win XP
added RAM (pending) from 512 to 2MB
it has ATI 9800 pro with 128 ram

and for all systems, upgraded dsl from 1.5 to 3.0
(little effect - but some)

Where do you all get your parts? I am building a system that will cost $3,300, yet I don't see much difference between it and yours, except for the AMD FX-57 and the ASUS x850 XT PE....
