i liked how the DC maps was really big and they only had 3 outpost it made it alot easier to defend the bases also the planes in it where alot eaiser to controll those are the only things i miss from DC.

That's not really desert...but still that's only 1 map. We want more than 1.Originally posted by bu11eTJuNkiEHave you played Strike at Karkand?

yes, strike at karkand and Mashtuur City is as close as any of the maps come...but their just not it.....like #3 said.... large scale desert maps with few outposts
so it seems like a long journey...a lil trip to get place to place...

If you have every played POE for BFV, you know what good maps are all about. Like ones where you can airdrop over cities, and others where are large strech of desert seperates the cities where the flags are. Or how about a map with an up hill battle trying to capture a building at the top of the hill. Fun stuff....

no... lol... i highly doubt it.......main thing in that expansion is gonna be nightmaps n a vast desert map might... be a possibility..but i mean come on...BF2 should have em... its what made DC...in fact..DC... the feel of bein on a desert battlefield fightin iraqi's gave it a more realistic feel to it

DC was a better game.
It was brutal and you could actually get into the buildings or operate artillery, fly hard to fly but such pleasing helis etc etc etc, so many things.
I just wait for it to come to bf2.
EA can F\/ck off, bring on the modders.

Having said that, this is the base game and it is better than vanilla bf42 so i hope the mods like dc will be so much better.
War is brutal and so was dc.
Leave the vanilla to the gamepad players

I was wondering that too Sauron.
Back on topic though, the war on terrorism doesn't involve large maps. Why? Well, you mentioned 73 Easting, a map based primarily on armored conflicts. Terrorists don't have tanks. That's just one example.
