Define ironic: Game built on Nvidia, running better with ATI.
Now that's true, I had no probs running this game with 9800 non-pro, but now graphics stutter/hiccup when I upgraded to 7800GTX. Of course I had lower setting with that old Radeon, but still!!! Game needs to be optimized, hope the next patch or new drivers help a bit.

Well, buing more memory fixes it. At least it's fairly cheap upgrade compared to buying GTX

While that is true, I'd rather have $120 in my pocket.

If you have an AGP video card, make sure the Apurture size is set to 256MB.

                Re: Bf2 proformance help

i just purchased this comp recently

Intel P4 2.4A (1MB Cache) @ 3.5GHz with Samsung Original 1024 MB 400MHz PC3200 DDR RAM, Seagate 200 GB 7,200rpm 8MB Cache Hard Drive. ATi Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition with 256MB DDR3 RAM Video Card with VIVO(Video In/Video Out). Black/Silver ATX case with Antec True Power Dual Fan 450 Watt Power Supply. Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Digital Sound.

the guy i bought it from said that it wouldn't be the comp or hardware and to check my connections.

what do y'all think, i know the video card isn't a bad one and he said if i upgrade ram it will mess up the OC

oh yeah it also can with thermaltake liquid cooling system

Create a new thread in the HARDWARE section instead of resurrecting this nearly year old one.
