Funny error

Is this a message from one developer to another that they forgot to remove or what?

This error just started appearing a few days ago without me doing anything.

Yup, fairly usless and it shows they did not take bf2 too seriously.

To resolve your problem just delete your textures in %Documents and Settings\%profile_name%\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

its useful when coming to programming as its arather invasive reminder to do somting, i do it on a regular basis but always remove them, just goes to show bf2 was rushed by EA i blame ea not dice they made a great game

I blame EA as well, I think DICE wasn't ready to put it into production but the publisher (EA) forced them. As you can tell they weren't happy, and that is why the patch coming out will have a lot of the fixes (intended to be in the retail version, but again it was rushed by EA).

Also, why does it show they didn't take BF2 seriously? I think they did, but less we forget it is a sin for developers to have fun now-a-days.
