Medic gun unlock

I don't like the medic gun unlock too much. It is accurate, but too weak. I like the stock weapon far better. Anyone else feel the same?

Also, the grenade launcher is the best infantry weapon, making it really hard to win in 1v1 fights vs a good player. Even if they miss, they have time to switch and still shoot you.

The damage is around the same, maybe a little weaker, but the scope is what really sells it. It's better than any sniper rifle.

It definately takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's a great weapon.

I just switched back to the normal one, and it is a lot better both up close and far away. I have to test the unlock more later, but I don't like it right now. It feels weak.

i tested them all before the patch in singleplayer and liked the medic unlock the best

I'd rather unlock the Ak-101 for USMC than the L85..

I hate the L85. I put my gun in single shot and shoot insanely slow, and still see the bullets landing nowhere near I need them to.

The medic unlock PWNS. I put it in single shot from far away and usually kill my foe within 1-3 rounds. Just stop, prone, aim, kill. Up close, in full auto in the hands of someone skilled in its use, its still very useful.

You also have to keep in mind however, that its the MEDIC unlock. Medics are not supposed to be carrying around an extremely deadly weapon. Typically, a medics weapon is more closely used as self defense until the support or assualt troop shows up. If you are worried that the medic unlock is too under powered, maybe you should play as an assualt or support troop.

I have gotten longer range kills with the L85 than any other rifle. It is by far the best weapon, I wil unlock the G3 next, it is pretty rocking too.
Medic weapons damage stats.
M16A2: 30 points Accuracy: High
AK-47: 38 points Accuracy: Medium
AK-101: 37 points (weird considering it is 5.56mm vs 7.62 like the 47) Accuracy: Medium/High
L85A1: 32 points Accuracy: High

You really shouldn't us Medic unlock for 1shot each
just put it in Auto mode and shoot a burst if they are far away or automatic when close.If you actually concider it i suppose it's batter than AK-47 in accuracy wise

I love the L85, Im glad I unlocked it. I use it in single shot mode works mine for me.

Like others have stated, its a medics gun, not an assualt gun

oh god yes...

I wouldn't call the L85A1 a total POS like I would the sniper rifles or support weapons, but I will definitely take an AK or even an M16 over it in most every situation.

of course it is a good pwnage gun my countries army uses it!!!! woot uk army woot....

i did unlock it for my second unlock and this gun is good what makes the original medic gun gr8 tho is the burst fire
